My First Tablescape

My First Tablescape

Introducing my first table setting. In this post I'll talk around the theme, colours and textures I chose. I will go into more detail around the products in the next number of posts.

The first tablescape I styled I had Autumn/Winter in mind. I focused on white, gold and grey tones which are on trend yet timeliness colours that will complement any table and decor in a person's home.

I find once you establish your theme and colours the hard part is done. Then you can build around that theme.

Hostaro Tableware Dinnerware and napkin

The dinnerware I chose is classic white with a hand painted gold rim. They're stunning pieces just on their own. And gold cutlery, how stunning are they?!

From the glassware range I chose wine glasses that are contemporary and full with a flat base that helps your guest sit and swirl the aromas of the wine evenly around its glass. And I chose the stemless glass (which is also a wine glass) as the water glass adding more charm to the table.

Adding textures to a table with a table runner or tablecloth really accentuates the table and finishing it off with linen napkins really oozes charm and comfort for you guests. I chose dark dove as the colour for the table linen which was a lovely contrast colour against the white and gold. You can see from the pictures how well the dinnerware and serveware pop! I'll talk about the actual pieces in my next post.

Hostaro Tableware Dinnerware and decor

Adding decor to the table is the piece de resistance. I included a large centrepiece of flowers including candles and small sprigs of greenery & flowers on each plate from Flowers Made Easy. Gorgeous gold placemats which are so versatile from casual to dressy tables, and easy to store too. The candle stick holders are a gorgeous addition to the table, they're a matt brassy / gold colour adding a different and welcomed gold tone to the table and the napkin rings too.

What are your favourite pieces? Have you got a small dinner party coming up?

Sam xoxo
